I’m Andrea, chef at heart, recipe developer, and world explorer.
After I graduated from the University of Southern California (USC), I decided I wanted to live a life that was 100% authentic to myself and made me the happiest. And that meant being a chef.
I created Tastily Healthy with one mission in mind: To get you to eat more healing foods to prevent or cure chronic illnesses.
Through my constant education, travels, and research, I continue to discover the incredible healing effects of foods, especially plants, vegetables, and fruits. And that is why I love creating recipes that contain many healing properties and implement ancient traditions.
My travel experiences through different parts of the world have been an inspiration to most of my recipes, as well as my cultural traditions from living in Peru most of my life. Regardless of your diet, I hope Tastily Healthy inspires you eat more plants, vegetables, and fruits to live a healthier, happier, and fulfiller life.

Get to know me.
I graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with my B.S in Business Administration, and I’m also a registered yoga instructor. During the time I lived in South East Asia, I took cooking courses in Thailand and Indonesia. And I also volunteered as a chef to cook in a farm in Surin-Thailand, using only ingredients that come from the Earth.
I worked in the food industry for about 5 years before working for corporate America for another 8 years. Including the finance, education, and healthcare industries. During my time at the healthcare industry, I was amazed by the amount of people who struggle with chronic illnesses and the amount of pills many people take on their daily basis.
I continue to be impressed by the lack of education about the importance of foods. And the lack of proper nutrition when a patient is hospitalized. Having said that, all these experiences have provided me with the personal and technical skills I need to turn my passion into a career. And more than anything, with the motivation and eagerness to impact people’s lives.
Let’s remove any sort of label or diet from your mind. Things and people change. One day you can be Paleo and the next year you are Vegan. Then something happens, and you start eating in a different way. BUT, regardless of the diet you practice, it is always recommended to implement more fruits and vegetables into your life.
And that is what I love! To Experiment, create, and transform new recipes every day that contain many healing properties. Inspired by different fusions of cuisines and superfoods from Peru.

Most of my recipes are inspired by Peruvian cuisine and all of the countries I’ve visited and lived on.
